Petting Zoo – Everyone is invited to join us for a light lunch and petting zoo today from 11–12:30 on the Green. We’ll be serving pizza, veggies, and drinks, and everyone is invited to have some lunch, pet some animals, take some pictures, etc. No RSVP needed, just come on over to the Green!

Our Noisy Offering Was Today, but if you forgot your coins, we’ll gladly accept them next week, too. Our goal is to raise $5000 for Heifer, which will allow us to buy an ark. We’ve had several donations so far, and are working toward our goal.

Easter Egg–Stravazanza – In celebration of Easter, we’ll be hosting our annual Easter Egg–Stravaganza. This event is coming up on April 3 at 10am on the Green – if it’s raining, we’ll move inside to Fellowship Hall. Please bring one–two dozen filled Easter Eggs to share for the Easter Egg Hunt – and if you’d like to dye your eggs here, please bring your own supply of hard–boiled eggs for dipping. We’ll have an Easter bunny for photos, over 3,000 eggs for kids to collect, and general crafts and activities. Please bring your Easter eggs to the church office Monday – Friday, or bring them to the Children’s table during the Sunday coffee hour. Thank you!

Bingo And Potluck – Mark your calendars for Friday, April 23 at 6pm. You are invited to an evening of bingo and potluck! Please bring a food for potluck and a grab bag gift for our bingo winners. Last Names A–H please bring a salad or appetizer; last names I–R please bring entrée or side, and last names S–Z please bring desserts. We’ll have a grab bag table for our bingo winners – so please bring a small item (under $5) or use this opportunity to “re–gift” a special item – what better way to share a gift you’ve received with others.

Sin And Forgiveness – Today at 11:15am Fellowship Hall, room 1. Dr. Avram will continue the Lenten Series Sin and Forgiveness. Dr. Avram will discuss forgiveness in political life.

How Women Pray – A series titled, How Women Pray facilitated by Parris Richie will be offered three Thursdays in April from 6:30 to 7:30pm. The dates are: April 8, 15 and 22. They will meet in the Office Conference room. The accompanying text is The Invisible Woman by Nicole Johnson. This unusually reflective and insightful book brings a powerful message of personal value and hope to every taken–for–granted woman in today’s emotionally sightless world. Nicole combines comedy and loneliness with God’s wisdom as she follows the story of Charlotte who is feeling invisible. Our study will combine scripture appropriate to this study and you are encouraged to bring your Bible to class. For more information, contact Parris Richie at pncrichie@aol.com or 480.551.6855.

The Youth Rummage Sale is March 26 and 27. We will be collecting donations through Tuesday, March 23 from 9am–4pm in Fellowship Hall. We will not be accepting donations after Tuesday. The proceeds from the rummage sale will primarily be used to fund this summer’s High School Mission Trip. In addition to providing a great mission experience for the youth of our church, the rummage sale also helps our community. One week of sorting, pricing, and selling benefits our local church, our immediate community, and the greater Phoenix area. We need your help to make this happen. We are looking for volunteers to help sort and sell. If you can help, contact Rev. Kristin using the staff e–mail page or stop by the sale during the collection hours.

The Thoughtful Christian Article for March is entitled Four Accounts of Jesus’ Resurrection. The account of Jesus’ burial and resurrection is found in all four Gospels and mentioned by Paul. While all accounts affirm His resurrection, they differ to various degrees. What do Christians believe about these differences, and what do we mean when we affirm that Jesus was raised from the dead? Pick up your copy in the Sanctuary or Chapel narthex.

The Labyrinth will be set up in Fellowship Hall for the Easter season beginning March 28 through April 1 from 9am to 9pm. We will feature a special candlelight setting from 6–9pm each evening and someone will be there for assistance during candlelight hours.
