Registration/Tuition Information for Summer Adventure Camp 2010

Summers in Arizona can feel long and hot without some fun things to keep your little one busy. To avoid boredom, check out the programs below that will be offered at the preschool this summer!

Classes will be grouped according to age and limited to small class sizes so register and reserve your spot early! As an added bonus, spots reserved in advance will receive a discount! Be sure to check your calendar before taking advantage of this great offer since their will be NO REFUNDS for weeks cancelled or not attended. If changes are needed, weeks can possibly be substituted depending on class sizes and availability.

Children are required to be reliably toilet trained and the age of 3 years old by June 1st through those entering Kindergarten in 2010.

Additional Information

The registration fee and tuition for all sessions will be due at the time of registration.

There will be NO REFUNDS for classes cancelled or missed, although due to the discretion of the preschool office, one week can be switched for another if there is space available.

Your child will need to bring a lunch everyday in a soft lunch box or a brown bag with an ice pack. Remember PPP is PEANUT FREE and TREE NUT FREE due to high allergies.

A morning snack will be provided by the preschool.

Please dress your child in their play clothes as most of our activities will be messy! We ask that you do not allow your child to wear flip–flops for safety reasons. They may however wear sandals that have a strap around the back of their heel.

Please be sure to apply all sunscreen before arriving and leave the sunscreen bottles at home.

You may register online or through the preschool office.  There is a $20 one time registration fee.   Tuition is due upon registration.

Session 1 “Ooey Gooey Good Times”             Mon-Thurs, May 24th – 27th           9:00-1:00pm

Don’t wear anything special this week cuz’ there is lots of Ooey, Gooey fun planned!  Inspired by Lisa Murphy, the “Ooey, Gooey Lady”, our teachers share exciting materials which promote problem solving, social interaction, curiosity and wonder. 

Session 2 “Let’s Celebrate Summer!”             Tues-Thurs, June 1st – 3rd             9:00-1:00pm

The heat is on and what better way to stay cool but to splash and play in the sprinklers, enjoy water games, and eat popsicles?  Sunscreen, swimsuits and towels are a must for this week of water fun! **Priced to reflect 3 days only

Session 3 “Little Chef’s Around the World”    Mon-Thurs, June 14th – 17th          9:00-1:00pm

Cooking favorites from around the world will be the topic for this week.  The children will be traveling the globe for exotic tasty foods then putting on their chef hat’s to prepare a delicious rendition to eat and enjoy.  Yummy!

Session 4 “The Great Outdoors Indoor”        Mon-Thurs, June 21st – 24th          9:00-1:00pm

A camping we will go....indoors!  All those great things associated with camping like fishing, tents, storytelling, singing songs, smore’s and more will be the highlight of the week.  So grab your gear and get ready for some fun! 

Session 5 “Let the Good Times Roll”              Mon-Thurs, June 28th – July 1st      9:00-1:00pm

Let’s face it, the summer is a time to have fun and celebrate with friends!  This week will be filled with parties like a Luau, a 4th of July Bash, some Rock & Roll fun and Movie Mania that includes popcorn.

Session 6 “Little Einsteins”                            Mon-Thurs, July 12th – 15th            9:00-1:00pm

This is the week to let your imagination go wild and take an adventure!  Go on a space adventure, live like a pirate or a prince or princess in a castle. Maybe even ride a horse thru the Wild, Wild West!  The sky’s the limit….if you can dream it, you can live it!

Session 7  “Escape to Adventureland”         Mon-Thurs, July 19th – 22nd             9:00-1:00pm

This is the week to let your imagination go wild and take an adventure!  Go on a space adventure, explore like a dinosaur or live like a prince or princess in a castle.  Maybe even ride a horse thru the Wild, Wild West!  The sky’s the limit…if you can dream it, you can live it!

Session 8 “Amazing Animals”                       Mon-Thurs, July 26th - 29th              9:00-1:00pm

Lions and tigers and bears, OH MY!  Animals are everywhere this week.  Whether they live in the desert, jungle or on a farm, animals from A-Z and their habitats will be studied.  Plus, a special visit from Jungle Jill and her animal friends.  

Session 9 “Oceans in Motion”                      Mon-Thurs, Aug 2nd – 5th                9:00-1:00pm

Everyone loves the beach and going to the ocean in the summer!  This week the children will enjoy activities that embrace the ocean and the mammals that live in it.  Surfing, sand castles, dolphins and a whole lot more during this fun filled week of beach fun!

Age & Requirements

Pinnacle Presbyterian Preschool classes are open to children age 3 to 5. Children must be reliably toilet trained and be current on all immunizations. Pinnacle Presbyterian Preschool does not base their admissions on the race, religion or economic status of the child or their family.

Pinnacle Presbyterian Preschool's curriculum is based upon best practices in Early Childhood Education. Curriculum is divided into seven main developmental milestones that follow guidelines established by the Arizona Department of Education.
