Dear Members and Friends,
We are quickly approaching the time of year when we ask each of you to consider the life and ministry of our Lord at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church. Beyond the direct impact of this ministry on you and your family, we ask you to think about our church’s importance to your friends and neighbors, and upon all who are touched by our work with love and care. Our church is people using their time, talents and resources to serve God and their neighbors. This outreach is at the heart of stewardship.
My wife, Fran, and I decided early in our marriage, which now spans more than 50 years, that our personal commitment to stewardship should be proportional to our income. We realized it would require systematic annual steps of increased giving to reach our goal of tithing. While our personal situation has not always permitted the increase we planned, I can tell you that since we joined Pinnacle in 2004, we have increased our giving each year. By taking this approach we found ourselves blessed to feel a part of God’s work. Our commitment has deepened and our satisfaction increased throughout each of our years here.
At Pinnacle, we are deeply grateful for the generosity our supporters have offered in the past. To successfully make a difference this year, I ask that you review your pledge carefully. If you are able, I ask you to increase your gift by one percent of your household income. Please join us on Commitment Sunday, November 13th, as we try to make a difference in 2012 — not only with our financial support for the church, but also in our giving of time, talent and spiritual support to the work of the Lord at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church.

• Those wishing to use electronic transfer, please also complete the EFT section on the reverse side of the pledge card or complete the form on our secure website.
• Join us in celebration on Commitment Sunday, Nov. 13, as we deliver our pledge cards and our time and talent commitments to the Lord at the communion table or in the collection plate.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is an automated process which will transfer your monthly gift to Pinnacle Presbyterian Church from your bank. This is a thoughtful way to assure the ministry and mission through regular giving, even when you are away from home. The EFT process is safely regulated by strict banking laws and is cost effective for the church. To authorize the automatic transfer of your monthly gift, please complete the reverse side of the enclosed commitment card or give online through our secure Electronic Funds Transfer page..
Additionally, we anticipate that by early 2012 the church will also have the ability to offer debit and credit card capabilities. Please indicate on the pledge card if you are interested in this form of giving.
